What shipped, when
The full release history, generated straight from the app's built-in What's New. When we say feedback ships fast, this page is the receipt. What's next lives on the roadmap.
September 9, 2026
- Adding a meal no longer leaves you waiting with nothing happening. Everything you log - food, water, weight, exercise - was reading your day from the server before it wrote to it, and on a weak signal that read could take twelve seconds or more. The sheet stayed open the whole time with the button still looking untouched, which is exactly what a button that has not registered looks like. Sated now reads the copy already on your phone, so it saves and closes straight away even on a bad connection.
- The Add button now says "Adding…" while it works, and cannot be pressed twice. If you did press it again because nothing seemed to be happening, you could end up with the same meal listed twice.
- A meal added twice in quick succession can no longer make the first one disappear. Two entries saved within a moment of each other were both written over the same copy of your day, so only the last one survived - with nothing to tell you the other had gone.
- If saving a food to your library fails, Sated tells you. Ticking "Save to my library" could silently do nothing: the meal went into your day, the library entry never arrived, and there was no message either way. Now it says so, and says the meal is still in your day.
September 8, 2026
- Food noise on Today is now a plus and a minus instead of a slider, because the slider could not be used. In a tile that is a third of the screen it had 28 pixels of track for a nought-to-ten scale - under three pixels per point - so a fingertip could never land on the number you meant, and it kept snapping to 10/10. Each tap now moves it by exactly one, and nothing else on the screen can change it. The full slider is still in the Diary, where there is room for it.
- You can fill in an exercise you have already logged. Open any session in Recent Activity, tap Edit, and add how long it was - or the sets, reps and weight. This is how you complete the sessions that were logged before Sated kept the duration, so nothing is stuck as just a name. Leaving a box empty removes that detail rather than storing it as a zero.
- Exercise you log by voice or chat now keeps how long you did it. If you said "Silver Sneakers seated workout, 23 minutes", Sated saved the name, quietly dropped the minutes, and then told you it had saved them - so the Move tab showed the workout with no time against it. The minutes are kept now, and they show on the card, along with distance and steps for a walk. Sated also only tells you what it actually saved.
- Tap any entry in Recent Activity to open it. It shows the full detail of that session - how long, sets, reps, weight, distance, steps - and when you logged it. If a session was saved with nothing but its name, it says so plainly instead of showing you a blank.
- Sated now runs at the full refresh rate on iPhones that have one. On a 120Hz iPhone the app had been capped at 60 frames a second - that is a setting an app has to ask for, and we never had. Scrolling and animations should feel noticeably smoother. Phones with a 60Hz screen are unchanged.
September 7, 2026
- You can pinch to zoom in the app now. On the phone app this had been switched off completely, so if the text was too small for you there was nothing you could do about it. Zoom works everywhere.
- Text is easier to read. The lightest grey used for hints and small print did not stand out enough from the background, and the sage green buttons were too pale behind their white lettering. Both are a shade deeper now, across all seven themes, so everything on screen meets the standard for readable text. Nothing has moved and nothing is louder, it is just clearer.
- If you have "Reduce Motion" turned on in your phone settings, Sated now respects it. Screens change without sliding and the goal celebration appears without the confetti flying. You still get the celebration, it just holds still.
- The tour now puts you back where you started. It walks you through all four tabs, and when it finished it just left you on the last one - so a brand new account ended up sitting in Settings instead of on Today. Skipping part way through did the same.
- The exercise form videos open properly on iPhone. They were showing a black "video player configuration error" panel instead of playing.
- Deleting your account is easier to get right. You can now tap the eye to see the password you typed, and the box tells you which account it is checking - autofill was quietly putting the wrong saved password in, and behind dots there was no way to tell.
- The Premium screen no longer shows a price it could not confirm with the store. If the store cannot be reached it says so plainly instead of showing figures, and it never shows a buy button that would not work.
September 5, 2026
- Small amounts of protein, carbs, fat and fibre keep their decimal again. Everything logged was being rounded to a whole gram, which is harmless on 27g of protein and badly wrong on the small numbers: 1.4g of fat became 1g and 1.5g became 2g, so two nearly identical amounts were shown as different, and a third of the amount could disappear in the rounding. Grams now carry one decimal wherever they appear - the food you log, your daily totals, recipes and the portion picker. Calories stay whole, because a tenth of a calorie is not a real difference.
- Removing a food entry from the day now takes its fibre back out of the daily total too. Protein, calories, carbs and fat were always removed; fibre was left behind, so it quietly built up over time.
September 3, 2026
- Three new guides on satedglp1.com. Menopause and Mounjaro, which covers the question nobody writes about honestly: the symptom lists overlap almost completely, so how do you tell whether it is the medication or perimenopause? Coming off Mounjaro or Ozempic, on what actually happens when you stop and what genuinely protects you. And the Mounjaro dose schedule, on the titration steps, missed doses, and why staying at a dose that works is not falling behind.
August 26, 2026
- Food History in the Kitchen shows your days again. It had never worked for anyone: Sated was asking the database for your logged days in a way it refused to answer, and instead of admitting that, the screen said "No history yet" - so a fortnight of careful logging looked like nothing at all. Your days were always there. If it ever fails to load now, it says so and offers to try again.
- Tapping "See all" on a shelf in your recipe library now opens that shelf. It used to run a text search for the name of the shelf instead, so "See all" on Snacks searched your recipes for the word "snacks", matched nothing, and left you staring at an empty library with no idea why.
- The search box in your library no longer shrinks to a circle. As soon as anything was filtering the list it collapsed to the width of its own magnifying glass, so whatever you typed was invisible and there was no way to clear it. It keeps its size now, has an X to clear it, and anything narrowing your library is named on screen and removed with one tap.
- A library with nothing matching your search now says so, instead of showing you a blank space.
August 24, 2026
- You can share Sated with someone else on a GLP-1 now, from Me then Settings. It could already share a meal, a shopping list or your progress, but never itself.
- The guides on satedglp1.com now have diagrams. There is a body map showing the three injection areas and how far to stay from your navel, a four week rotation map for the clock method, a chart of where the protein range comes from, and the tirzepatide dose steps drawn out.
- Chat now knows what you have actually logged today. It could tell you that you were on 0g protein and 0ml water even right after you had logged both, because it was never given today's numbers at all - it always assumed zero. It now reads your real totals before every reply, and if it genuinely cannot read them, it says so instead of guessing a number.
- Chat will not tell you to do more of something you have already hit your goal on today, same as the fortnightly patterns card learned last week.
August 23, 2026
- The four ways to add something new sit at the bottom of the add-food screen at all times, instead of below your recent meals and your library. Describe, Snap it, By hand and Build it are now always on screen, so typing your own macros no longer means scrolling past a fortnight of dinners to find it.
- Opening Add no longer brings the keyboard up on its own. It appears when you tap the search box, which is when you want it, and the rest of the screen stays yours until then.
- Recent foods and your library show eight at a time, with a Show more if there are others. Search still looks through all of them.
- Three new guides on satedglp1.com: why you are so tired on a GLP-1, hair loss and what is actually causing it, and what changes about alcohol. The protein calculator now shows the research the 1.2 to 1.6 g per kg range comes from.
- The web version of Sated now lives at satedglp1.com/app, and satedglp1.com itself is a proper page explaining what Sated is and who it is for. If you use Sated in a browser, update your bookmark. If you added Sated to your home screen it will take you to the right place on its own. Nothing changes in the Android or iPhone app.
August 22, 2026
- Adding food to your day is one screen now. No more tabs to choose between: you get a search box, everything you have eaten in the last two weeks, your saved library, and three ways to add something new - describe it, snap it, or type the numbers yourself.
- Recent foods are the headline. Whatever you have logged in the last fortnight is right there, deduped, with the most recent numbers you used - one tap to have it again. No retyping, no searching, no AI call.
- The camera is no longer buried. Snapping a photo of your plate used to be reachable only from inside Describe; it now sits alongside it as an equal option.
- Search finds things by feel, not spelling, and looks through what you have eaten and what you have saved at the same time. If it finds nothing, the words you typed become the description in one tap, so a search never dead-ends.
- Chat can keep what it just logged. Tell Sated what you ate, pick the meal, and you can save that food to your library from the same place - it quietly disappears once saved, or if it was already there.
- The same meal now gives the same numbers wherever you type it. Describing "a bowl of porridge with semi skimmed milk" in Today's Food and in chat could give you two different answers, because the two were breaking the sentence into foods differently. Whichever one you use first now decides, and the other follows - which also means describing a meal you have described before is instant and costs nothing.
- Sated will no longer tell you to do something you are already doing. If you have hit your protein and water goals all fortnight and been logging every day, "Patterns from your logs" now says so once and then talks about something else - instead of recommending the exact habits you have already built. It was never reading your goals before, only your totals, so it had no way to tell a good day from a bad one.
- It explains, rather than prescribes. If a symptom keeps landing in the same part of your dose cycle, that is what you will be told - for example, fatigue falling in the 48 hours after your injection, when the medication is at its peak. And when your intake is already where it should be, it says plainly that this looks like the medication rather than anything you are doing wrong, and is worth raising at your next review.
- It is also allowed to say nothing. If your fortnight is steady and there is genuinely nothing to flag, the card either tells you that or stays away, instead of inventing a task to fill the space.
- Tips for today are personal now. They were built only from your medication and dose - no logs, no goals, no symptoms - which is why they could feel like generic advice. They now read your last two weeks, and they skip anything you are already on top of.
- Swipe to move through insights and saved tips. Anything showing "1 of 2" can now be swiped, as well as tapped.
- You can build a meal from your own ingredients, and Sated works the macros out rather than estimating them. Pick what went in, say how much of each - counted or weighed, your choice, per ingredient - and the numbers are arithmetic, not a guess. Available when adding food to your day, and in your ingredient library.
- Counting something Sated has never weighed asks once what one of them weighs, then remembers it. So "2 sausages" or "1 bagel" becomes exact, permanently.
- Describing a food now shows the portion it assumed, and lets you correct it from the pack. Tell Sated there were 4 in a 340g pack and it knows a bagel is 85g - which beats a fraction of a pack, especially when the pack has six in it.
- Your recipe library is now sorted into shelves - Favourites, the ones you cook most, and one per meal - instead of one long grid behind four rows of buttons. The shelves do the filtering, so the filters are gone.
- Every recipe you save now gets a picture. Saving from chat, by hand, or from a quick entry used to create a recipe with no image, which is why so many looked like empty grey cards.
- You can file a recipe under a meal yourself. Until now only Sated could decide whether something was breakfast or dinner, so anything it guessed wrong - or never guessed at all - was stuck.
- The recipe screen asks about portion size once instead of twice. Recipes are added to your day and confirmed there, which is the moment you actually know how much you ate. Telling Sated what a whole batch weighs is still worth doing - it is what lets you log an exact amount later.
- Kitchen scan buttons are tidied - the two big ones match, and Fridge, Menu and Receipt sit in one row.
- Saving a meal to your library is finally visible. The option was there on the hand-entry, describe and tweak screens, but it was faint small print under the numbers and almost nobody found it. It is now a proper control you cannot miss.
August 19, 2026
- Water logged from the widget, the Quick Settings tile or Control Centre now lands when you come back to Sated, not only when you open it fresh. Before this, if the app was already sitting in the background your taps waited until you had fully closed and reopened it - so a glass logged on the way to the kitchen looked like it had done nothing.
- The same fix rescues anything logged through Siri. Protein and weight banked by a shortcut could be skipped entirely on any launch that had no water waiting, which was most of them.
- Fixed a crash on Android. If you had ever switched Health Connect on and then no longer had it - a new phone, or it was uninstalled - Sated could close itself the moment it tried to read anything from it, again and again. It now checks Health Connect is actually there before asking it for anything, and quietly does nothing if it is not.
- On iPhone, the app no longer tells you to add Sated to your home screen. You installed it - that message was meant for people using Sated in Safari and should never have appeared in the app itself.
- Recipe pictures work again. Generating an image for a saved recipe failed most of the time and only ever said "Failed to generate image" - the picture was being made correctly, then rejected at the last step for being fractionally too big to store. Images are now sized to fit before they are saved, so they land the first time.
- When an image genuinely cannot be made, Sated now tells you why - no signal, service busy, your monthly allowance used up - instead of the same blank apology for every cause.
- Typing a food into chat starting with a number now logs it. "3 sausages" or "2 eggs" used to be read as ordinary conversation and quietly ignored, so nothing was recorded and nothing said so.
- And if the logging itself fails, chat now says so. Previously a failure looked exactly like a normal reply, so a meal could appear to be logged when nothing had been saved at all.
- The same food now gives the same numbers. Asked twice about the same meal, Sated could come back with different protein each time - because the estimate was being sampled rather than worked out. It now reports what it actually knows (how many, what one weighs, what is in 100g of it), the app does the arithmetic itself, and it remembers what a food is made of the first time it works it out. Log the same thing next week and you get the same figures, instantly, without asking the AI again.
- Sated now shows you the portion it assumed - "Assumed 57 g each, 171 g total" - under anything it estimates. That assumed weight is usually the thing that is wrong when an estimate is wrong, so it is the one worth showing you.
- And it no longer quietly upgrades your food. "2 eggs and a slice of toast" was being read as fried eggs on wholemeal on some attempts and plain eggs on white on others, which moved the protein by 3g and described a breakfast you never said you had.
- Estimated macros are shown in whole grams. A guess printed as "27.3 g" reads like a measurement; numbers you can actually see - a scanned label, or a figure you typed yourself - keep their precision.
August 18, 2026
- Top Tips & Features is now a shortcut, not a set of directions. Every tip has a tap that takes you straight to the thing it describes - the right tab, the right pill, the right card, scrolled into view and briefly ringed so you know which one was meant. Settings closes itself on the way, so nothing is hiding behind a panel when you get there.
- And it now covers everything, not a hand-picked handful. Move, Insights, the weekly explanation, shopping lists, the injection recovery plan, recipe scaling, cooking from what you already have, themes, voices, reminders, offline logging and your recovery code all have a card, grouped into sections so a long list is still readable. If Sated does something clever, it is in there.
- On Android, the body composition readings from a smart scale - body fat, lean mass, body water and bone mass - have been withdrawn. Google reviewed the permissions and asked us to only request what the app clearly needs, and rather than hold up an unrelated fix while we argue the case, we have taken them out. Your weight still comes across from your scale automatically, and steps still show on Move. On iPhone nothing changes.
August 16, 2026
- Your week, explained. On Sunday, Monday and Tuesday a card now appears at the top of Today that tells you WHY your week went the way it did, instead of scoring you on it. Sated is the only app that knows your injection day, your sleep, your period, your protein and your weight trend at the same time, so it can say the thing no other app can: a flat scale after three short nights, in the week your period started, on the days the medication is at its weakest, is a mechanism and not a failure. It keeps one genuine win and one small thing for next week, and there is no list of things you did wrong, because there is no such thing as a failed week here.
- It cannot make numbers up. Every figure is worked out from your own logs before a single word is written, and anything Sated cannot see — sleep or period days you have not connected — it simply does not mention, rather than reporting them as zero.
- You can share it, and it shares the feeling rather than your business. The image never names a period, a dose, a medication, a symptom or a weight.
- On iPhone, log water straight from Control Centre. Swipe down, tap the Sated control, and a glass is logged without the app opening. It can go on your Lock Screen or the Action button, and it uses your own bottle size. Needs iOS 18.
- Water logged from the iPhone widget or Control Centre now works on days you have not opened Sated yet. It used to do nothing at all on those days, silently, which was exactly the day the button was most useful.
- Log water from your Quick Settings shade, on Android, without opening Sated at all. Pull down from the top of the screen, tap the Sated tile, and a glass is logged. It works from the lock screen and with the app closed, and the tile shows where your day is up to. Add it from Settings, or from the edit screen of your Quick Settings panel.
- The tile logs your bottle, not ours. It uses the bottle size you set on the Today tab, so one tap is however much you actually drink, and it falls back to 250 ml only if you have never set one.
- Water logged from the tile lands even if you tap it ten times on a train with no signal. It is held on your phone and added to your day the next time you open Sated, on the day you actually drank it, and Sated tells you it has done it.
- Long-press the Sated icon and the water shortcut now names your own bottle size too.
August 15, 2026
- Fixed: injection day could arrive a day late. The day number on your Today tab, the "tomorrow is injection day" prep card, and the recovery note on the Move tab all counted in 24-hour blocks from the moment your last dose was logged, instead of in calendar days. So if you injected on Sunday evening, then opened Sated on Sunday morning a week later, it still said day 6 and told you injection day was tomorrow, while the card directly above it correctly said your next dose was that same day. All of it now turns over at midnight on your own clock, wherever in the world you are.
- The same counting fix applies to the day number saved with each diary entry, the injection recovery plan, and the days-since-injection line the AI is told about, so your charts and its answers agree with the rest of the app.
- Sleep and period days are on iPhone today, and are waiting on Google to reach Android. Both need a health-permission review before Play will publish them, and rather than hold this injection-day fix behind that queue, we have shipped the fix now and will bring sleep and period to Android as soon as the review clears. Nothing about how they work changes: read only, never stored.
August 14, 2026
- Sleep, on iPhone. Connect Apple Health, switch Sleep on in Settings, and Sated shows last night on the Today tab, beside your energy and mood in the Diary, and as a chart on Insights. It is there to explain rather than to score you: short sleep makes hunger louder the next day, so a loud day after a bad night has a cause, and it is not your willpower.
- Period days on your charts, on iPhone. If you track your period in Apple Health, those days now appear behind your sleep chart, so a heavier week or a stalled scale can be read in context instead of as a failure. Switch Period on in Settings to use it.
- Neither of these is ever stored by Sated. Both are read fresh each time you look and forgotten straight after, so nothing new is kept about you, and turning the switch off ends it completely.
- Siri can log for you on iPhone, without opening the app. Say "log a bottle of water in Sated", "log 30 grams of protein in Sated" or "log my weight in Sated" and it is banked straight away, then folded into your day the next time you open the app. "Talk to Sated" still opens voice mode.
- Asking Siri for a bottle of water now means your bottle. Sated reads the bottle size you set on the Today tab, so a bottle is 750 ml if that is what you drink from, rather than a fixed amount we chose for you. A glass is 250 ml. For an exact figure, the Sated actions in the Shortcuts app take any number of millilitres.
- Sated now appears in Spotlight search and can be assigned to the Action button, with separate shortcuts for a glass and a bottle, so either is one press away.
August 13, 2026
- Water you log from the iPhone widget now reaches your day. Tapping the widget banked the amount and nothing ever collected it, so every glass logged from your home screen was quietly lost. It now lands the next time you open Sated, on the day you actually drank it, and the app tells you it has done it.
- The iPhone widget no longer goes blank at midnight. If the app had been left open overnight it could keep yesterday's date, which the widget correctly treats as "no numbers yet", so it sat on its opening message all day while the app in front of you looked perfectly normal.
- Settings now tells you whether the widget is actually connected, and what it can currently see. A widget that has lost its link to the app looks exactly like a widget you have not logged anything into yet, which is no help to anyone. Now it says which it is.
August 12, 2026
- Fixed: the iPhone app could sit on its opening screen and never reach the sign-in page. It now gets past that, and if anything ever does hold the opening screen up, Sated shows you the sign-in page anyway rather than leaving you looking at a logo.
- Injection and pen-expiry reminders now break through Focus and Do Not Disturb on iPhone. A dose reminder your phone silences is not a reminder. Water nudges and the daily prompt stay quiet, as they should.
- On iPhone, a new weight from your smart scale now appears in Sated as soon as Apple Health has it, instead of waiting until you next open the app.
- Sated links now open the app itself on iPhone rather than bouncing you through Safari.
- The app icon now has proper dark and tinted versions for iPhone home screens.
- Apple Health, on iPhone. Sated can now save the weight, water and food you log into Apple Health, and read your daily steps and your smart scale readings back out of it. It is the same metric-by-metric, direction-by-direction control the Android app has: you choose what goes out and what comes in, separately, and a scale reading is always offered before it is logged, never written into your diary behind your back.
- Long-press the Sated icon on your iPhone for Log water, Log weight, Log injection and Talk to Sated, exactly like the Android app.
- Sated now answers to the Shortcuts app on iPhone, which means it answers to Siri and the Action button too. Point a shortcut at sated://log-water, sated://log-weight, sated://log-injection or sated://talk and it opens straight into that job.
August 11, 2026
- Log a whole day from your camera roll. If you snap your meals but never get round to logging them, tap Gallery in the scanner, or "Catch up from your photos" on the Food tab, and pick the lot at once. Sated reads each photo in turn, you confirm how much you ate and tap which meal it was, and the time the photo was taken suggests the meal for you. On Android you can also select several photos in your gallery app and share them straight in.
- Portions of a pack, not just of 100g. Scan a label or a barcode and you can now choose what the quarter, half and three-quarter buttons actually mean: a serving, the whole pack, or 100g. Someone eating three quarters of a 300g pack of chicken used to have to work out 225g and type it in, with the buttons sitting right there. The pack size is read off the label when it is in the photo, and from the product database on a barcode; if it is not there, tap "+ Pack size" and type it once.
- Sated now tells you what a scan did. Finish a scan and it says in the chat exactly what was added and where, instead of the camera closing and the conversation carrying on as if nothing happened. That includes when you back out without logging anything.
- Scanned something you liked? Two new buttons appear under the confirmation: keep it in your kitchen, so it joins your in-stock ingredients and Sated can cook from it any time, or ask what you could make with it right there.
- Tell the chat everything you ate in one message and you now get a card for each thing, not one lumped-together entry. "Eggs and toast this morning, then a shake and a banana at lunch" comes back as four, and each one asks which meal it belongs to. If you already said which meal, that button is highlighted for you, but it is still your tap: nothing goes anywhere you did not choose.
- Food you log through the chat now actually counts toward your day. Picking a meal used to add it to your plan without logging it, so you would tell Sated you had eaten and watch your protein bar sit still. It now logs properly, exactly as voice always did.
- Sated can no longer tell you it logged something it did not log. The reply and the logging used to happen at the same time without either knowing about the other, so it would cheerfully say "logged that for you" over food that was never recorded. It now does the logging first and answers you afterwards, knowing what actually happened.
- If Sated cannot work out what you ate, it says so. Messages it could not turn into numbers used to disappear without a word, which is the worst possible outcome: you think it is recorded and it is not. Now it tells you plainly and offers to open the by-hand entry with the name already filled in.
- New free printable guide: Your First Six Months of Maintenance. Everyone prepares you for losing weight and almost nobody prepares you for the part where you stop. It covers why maintenance is about protecting muscle as much as holding a number, how much protein the research actually supports, why twice-weekly resistance work is the signal that keeps it, and the honest regain figures if you come off. Free at satedglp1.com/guides, no sign-up, free to share.
- Energy and food noise in your Diary are now a row of faces to tap, instead of a slider. Nobody experiences their own energy as a number out of ten, and a slider asks you to translate a feeling into maths before you can log it. Your existing entries are untouched and the trend charts read exactly the same, because the faces record the same values the slider did.
- The home screen widget now keeps itself up to date. It used to freeze at whatever your numbers were when you last closed the app, so logging by voice or chat, or on another device, never showed up on it. Now the widget updates quietly in the background, with no notification and without opening the app.
- You can now save a meal you entered by hand as a favourite. Tick "Save to my library too" on the By hand tab and it is there for one-tap logging next time, with the macros already scaled to your portion. If you log by macros because you know your numbers, you no longer have to retype them every day.
- Anything you save to your library now appears there straight away. It was being saved correctly but not showing up until you left the Food tab and came back, which made it look like the save had not worked.
- Health Connect now works metric by metric, and in both directions. You choose what Sated reads in and what it writes out, separately, for each thing: pull your weight in from your scale without ever pushing your food diary out, or the other way round. Everything stays off until you turn it on.
- If you own a smart scale that syncs to Health Connect, Sated can now read your body composition: lean body mass, body fat, body water and bone mass. Lean mass is the number a bathroom scale cannot show you, and it is the one that decides whether a steady weight is really steady. It appears on a new card in Progress.
- A weigh-in from your scale is offered, never taken. Sated shows you the reading and you decide whether to log it. It also ignores anything it wrote to Health Connect itself, so your own logs can never come back at you as scale readings.
- Fixed a step count that could read too high. If you had both a phone and a watch writing steps to Health Connect, Sated was adding both together and counting the same walk twice. It now counts one source.
- Fibre is spelled the British way throughout, and the ingredient breakdown on an AI meal estimate now shows all five macros per item rather than protein and calories alone.
- There is now an Add widget button in Settings on Android. Sated has had a home screen widget for a while, showing your protein and water for the day, but the only way to find it was to press and hold your home screen and dig through the widget list. Now it is one tap.
- Adding food has been rebuilt around three clear ways in: Library for your saved recipes, Describe for typing what you ate in plain words, and By hand for entering the numbers yourself. By hand used to be hidden behind a small grey link at the bottom of the screen, which is why people told us there was no way to enter fibre. There always was, but you could not find it, and that is the same thing.
- Fibre now appears everywhere the other macros do. When the AI works out a meal for you it shows fibre alongside protein, calories, carbs and fats. It was already counting your fibre and adding it to your day, it just never showed you the number, so the fibre bar could fill up with no explanation of where it came from.
- Every number the AI gives you can now be corrected before you add it. Tap any figure and type over it. What you type is what gets logged, and what gets saved if you keep the meal in your library, so a rough estimate becomes a right one instead of something you have to redo.
- You can now snap a photo straight from the Add food screen. Point it at your plate and it fills in the macros for you, ready to check and adjust. The photo is only read, never uploaded or kept.
- Recipes and meals now show their full macros wherever they are listed, rather than protein and calories alone, so what you see when you pick a meal matches what you see once it is added.
- Today's Food now shows your reliable meals: the ones you come back to that also carry a real share of your protein goal. Nothing to set up, Sated works them out from what you have actually logged over the last couple of months, and one tap adds one to today. Holding your weight is mostly a repeatability skill, and most people who manage it have a handful of meals they can make without thinking rather than endless variety.
- You can now sign in with Apple, on the web and in the app.
August 10, 2026
- You can now share your day of food as a single image. It groups everything you ate by breakfast, lunch and dinner, shows the protein and calories for each, and puts your full macros along the bottom. Find it on the share icon at the top of Today's Food. It never includes your weight or your medication, so it is safe to post anywhere.
- Confirmed meals now take photos. Tap the camera beside anything you have eaten and it appears on your day, and on the share card. Meal photos are deleted automatically after 7 days, because this is a record of your week rather than an archive. They are separate from Progress Photos, which still never leave your phone.
- Reaching your goal weight is now marked properly, rather than passing with a quiet toast. Sated tells you what happens next, and offers to start maintenance there and then if you would rather not wait.
- Maintenance Mode is now a proper phase, not just a card. When you have finished losing you can switch Sated over in Personal Goals, and the whole app changes with you: a weight band instead of a countdown, a calorie range instead of a deficit, and guidance built around keeping what you have achieved. Sated will offer the switch once your trend has sat at your target for a couple of weeks, but it will never move you without asking.
- Maintenance is judged on a band, not a number. You pick how wide it is, and everything is measured against your 14-day trend rather than this morning's reading, because weight moves day to day for reasons that have nothing to do with fat. "Maintaining well" means your trend is sitting inside your band.
- A new Maintenance tab in Insights shows your band with your trend inside it, and charts your food noise underneath on the same dates. Food noise tends to climb before the scale does, so if it starts rising while your weight is still steady, you get to notice early rather than be surprised later.
- The medication section in maintenance now shows how long you have been on the same dose, and if your dose steps down it keeps a closer eye on things for the following few weeks. Sated only ever reports what your log says. Anything about changing a dose is a conversation for your prescriber.
- Sated's AI now knows when you are maintaining. It will not congratulate you for losing more weight when your goal is to hold, it answers questions about coming off the medication honestly rather than brightly, and your doctor report treats a steady weight as the success it is instead of calling it a plateau.
- The Sunday summary no longer tells you your weight is up when you are simply moving around inside your own band.
- Sated now has a short link for sharing: satedglp1.com/get sends anyone straight to the app on Google Play. Handy if you want to pass it on to someone.
- Today's Food now shows fibre, carbs and fats as well as protein and calories. Fibre has its own bar against the goal in your Settings, because it is a target worth aiming at and constipation is a common side effect. Carbs and fats are shown as running totals with no target attached: the official advice for both is a range rather than a single number, so a goal there would be one we invented rather than one that means anything.
- You can now log a meal by its exact weight, not just as a quarter, half or all of it. If Sated does not already know what a portion weighs it asks once, remembers it against that recipe, and from then on you can just say you had 180g.
- Entering a meal by hand now has a fibre box, so food you type in yourself counts towards your fibre for the day instead of quietly counting as none.
August 9, 2026
- Signing in is much sturdier, and it can no longer fail quietly. If something goes wrong it now says so, and says what went wrong, instead of the button simply appearing to do nothing.
- "Continue with Google" shows that it is working while it waits, and if Google never answers it now gives up gracefully and suggests signing in with email instead, rather than waiting forever.
- Fixed a problem that could leave the app sitting on the opening screen indefinitely if your connection dropped at the moment you opened it.
- Fixed Google sign-in for people who added Sated to their home screen from the old web address before it moved to satedglp1.com.
- Password reset emails now come from Sated and say so, so they are easier to recognise and less likely to be treated as junk.
- You can now subscribe to Premium on the website, not just in the Android app. Same price, same features, and it unlocks everywhere you sign in.
- The Manage button on your Premium card now takes you to the right place to cancel or change your plan, whether you subscribed in the app or on the website.
August 8, 2026
- Charts have grown up. Me → Charts is now Insights, with six views instead of four: Weight, Pace, Body, Nutrition, Wellbeing and Dose cycle. There is an All-time range now too, not just the last 90 days.
- Your weight chart finally tells the truth. Day-to-day weight bounces around with water, salt and what time you stepped on the scale, so the daily readings are now pale dots and a bold 7-day trend line runs through them. That line is the one worth watching. If you have set a goal weight, the chart marks it and gives you a gentle sense of when you might get there, with an honest note that bodies do not move in straight lines.
- A new Pace view shows how much you changed each week as simple bars, with a shaded band for the steady half-a-percent-to-one-percent range most clinicians aim for. Weeks where the scale went up are shown in plain grey, not red, because a heavier week is information and not a telling-off.
- Dose cycle is the one we are most pleased with. It looks at every day you have logged, groups them by how long it had been since your last injection, and tells you in a sentence what your week actually looks like - for example that side effects tend to peak the day after your shot and settle by day three. Underneath, your estimated medication level and your logged side effects sit one above the other on the same dates, so you can look straight down and see whether the rough days line up with the peaks.
- Every chart now has a "Show numbers" button that turns it into a plain table, so nothing is locked behind a graph you cannot read.
- Nutrition charts gained calories, and each measure now has its own chart with your goal marked on it, rather than protein and water being squeezed onto one set of axes where they could not honestly be compared.
- Doctor reports are more accurate. The app now works out your trend, weekly rate and dose-cycle pattern itself and hands those figures to the report, instead of asking the AI to add up months of entries in its head.
August 2, 2026
- Sated has its own home on the web: satedglp1.com. The old address still works and always will, so any links or shortcuts you have saved keep working exactly as before.
- Recipe cards you share are a much better shape. They used to come out as one very long, thin image that chat apps squashed into a tiny strip. Now every card is a neat, readable square-ish card with the photo, the macros, and the ingredients and method side by side.
- Long recipes fit properly too: the card sizes its own text so a fifteen-ingredient dinner still arrives in one piece.
July 30, 2026
- Finished the rename properly. A few pieces of brand artwork still carried the old logo: the preview card people see when a Sated link is shared, and the banner on the Google Play listing. Both now use the new bowl-and-sprig mark.
- The Play Store listing also has the new icon and the new screenshots on every device size, so the app looks like itself wherever you find it.
July 29, 2026
- Nourish is now Sated. There were a dozen other apps called Nourish, which made this one hard to find and easy to mistake for something else. Search Sated and you will find us. Same app, same developer, same warm and judgement-free approach - only the name has changed.
- A new icon to go with it: the leaf sprig you know, now growing from a bowl filled to a comfortable level. Sated means satisfied, not stuffed, and that is the whole idea.
- Nothing to do on your end: your logs, recipes, photos, weights, settings and premium status are all exactly where you left them. Your voice companion now introduces itself as Sated too.
- Older entries below still say Nourish. They are kept exactly as they were written, because a changelog is a record of what happened rather than a tidy-up of it.
July 25, 2026
- New GLP-1 guides at nourish-app.web.app/learn - honest, practical answers on protein targets, hydration when thirst goes quiet, injection site rotation, and managing early nausea. Written by the Nourish team, free for everyone, no sign-in needed.
- Installing Nourish from your browser now shows a proper preview - screenshots, description and a link to the Play Store app.
- This What's New is now public: the full release history lives at nourish-app.web.app/changelog, alongside the feature list (/features) and the public roadmap (/roadmap).
- Fixed: freshly generated "Tips for today" could hide behind older ones - new tips now always appear first. Every tip you generate is kept, and ‹ › arrows under the cards let you browse back through earlier batches.
July 23, 2026
- Share your Week in Review as a beautiful card: tap the share icon on the review and post your headline, wins and next focus - a lovely way to mark your progress and cheer on others on the same journey.
- New privacy control in Me → Settings → Privacy & Data: choose whether to share anonymous, cookieless usage data (which features you open - never your health data) to help us improve. On by default, off anytime, and it collects nothing when off.
July 22, 2026
- Nourish now knows what's in your kitchen. Ask "what can I make tonight?" in chat or out loud in voice and it builds the answer around the ingredients you have in stock - telling you honestly what you'd still need to buy, rather than pretending a recipe fits.
- Adding a recipe to your day is one tap again: the quantities editor no longer opens automatically. "Add to Lunch" is right there, and "Tweak quantities" is a button beside it for the times you had more of one thing and less of another.
- New Receipt scan: photograph your shopping receipt on the way home and everything edible goes straight into your ingredients as in stock - till abbreviations expanded into real names. Find it in Food → Kitchen → Receipt, or the Receipt chip in any camera scan.
- Cooked something from your stock? Nourish now asks if anything ran out, listing just that meal's ingredients - one tap marks them out of stock. It only ever asks; nothing is removed behind your back, because half a bag of rice is still rice.
- Nourish's voice can now have an accent: British, Irish, Scottish, American, Australian or Indian English, in Me → Settings → Nourish's Voice. It applies to voice chats and everything read aloud.
- Read-aloud starts much faster: your Week in Review now begins speaking after the first sentence or two instead of waiting for the whole thing, and the button says "Preparing…" while it gets ready.
- Every food log now asks how much you actually ate: after any scan's Log or Add button - and when confirming a planned meal - quick ¼ / ½ / ¾ / All chips (or exact grams, pre-filled from the scan's portion estimate or the label serving) scale the macros to what really went in. A half-finished plate logs as a half - that's the medication working, not a failure.
- Label and barcode scans: the "I had ___" box has moved into that same how-much step, so packaged food, plates, menu dishes, and planned meals all confirm the same way.
- New "Review stock" button in Kitchen → Ingredients: re-open your fridge-scan checklist any time to remove what's used up, fix storage or macros, or add items the scan missed. Removed items are marked out of stock, and re-scanning the same day updates that day's Kitchen Stock list instead of creating a duplicate.
- Your weekly Week in Review and Diary insights are now free and unlimited - the features that help you look back and keep going are never counted against your monthly AI uses.
- Free AI uses are now counted per feature instead of one shared pool, so a busy day of food scans no longer eats into your meal plans or doctor reports.
- Week in Review now remembers past weeks: use the ‹ › arrows on the card to look back at earlier reviews you've generated.
- Fixed: running out of free AI uses on the Me tab always said "Doctor Reports" - the message now names the feature you actually used (Week in Review, Doctor Reports, or Doctor Cheat Sheet).
July 19, 2026
- Tapping your Sunday weekly digest notification now takes you straight to your Week in Review on the Me tab - and generates it for you if this week's isn't ready yet.
- Week in Review can now be read aloud: tap the speaker icon on the card and hear your week in your chosen Nourish voice.
- The "+250 ml" button on hydration reminders now confirms itself: a quiet "250 ml logged" notification with your day's total (or an in-app toast if Nourish is open) - no more wondering whether the tap worked (app version).
July 16, 2026
- Fixed: logging protein could crash the app when Health Connect sharing was switched on - protein now syncs to Health Connect properly (app version).
- Fixed: the Lock / Upload / Take buttons no longer spill out of the Progress Photos card on narrow screens.
- Fixed: if you set up reminders before installing the app, they kept arriving as plain pushes - without the "+250 ml" button. The app now moves them onto exact, offline-capable device scheduling automatically (app version).
- Fixed: Dark mode now reaches every full-screen view - the app-lock screen, Cook Mode, and voice mode were staying cream with washed-out text.
- Cook Mode: the speaker icon now pulses while your chosen voice is being prepared - the short wait is the voice generating, not a stuck button.
- Dark mode polish: the new Top Tips & Features cards no longer cast a pale glow on dark backgrounds.
- Fixed: the medication level chart's scale numbers were partly cut off on narrow screens.
- Fixed: the "+250 ml" button on hydration reminders now logs your water even when the app was fully closed (app version).
July 15, 2026
- New "Top Tips & Features" showcase - the best tricks Nourish has (say it and it logs, scan any menu, cook mode read-aloud, one-tap Undo, and more), each with exactly where to find it. It rounds off the welcome tour for new users, and lives in Me → Settings any time.
- Cook mode can now read the steps aloud - in the Nourish voice you picked in Settings. Tap the speaker icon and it reads each step as you move through them.
- Electrolytes grew up: on rough-stomach days the water card gently reminds you they help more than plain water, "had my electrolytes" now works in chat and voice, and the ⓘ explains why they matter on GLP-1.
- Add your injection day to your calendar: one tap on the Medication card creates the weekly recurring event.
- Lock your Progress Photos behind your fingerprint - separate from the full app lock. Tap "Lock" in the photos section (app version).
- Hitting a goal now feels different: a rising celebration buzz for goals, a double-pop when you finish a bottle (app version).
- On a keyboard? Press "/" anywhere to open the chat, and use arrow keys + space in cook mode.
- Fixed: logging water or protein could crash the app when Health Connect was on but missing some permissions - Nourish now only shares the data types you actually granted (app version).
- Fixed: the back gesture in Cook Mode now returns to your recipe instead of jumping to Today (app version).
- Fixed: the rearrange panel no longer hides behind the bottom tab bar.
- Cook mode: open any recipe and tap "Cook mode" for full-screen step-by-step instructions with big text - and the screen stays awake while you cook.
- Yesterday's meals show as ↻ repeat chips on the protein card - log the same breakfast in one tap.
- On injection day, Today greets you with a gentle companion strip - hydration first, lighter meals, and a one-tap jump to your Recovery Plan.
- Hydration reminders now have a "+250 ml" button right in the notification - log water without opening the app (app version).
- Every log now has Undo: water, protein, weight, and injections show an Undo button on their confirmation for a few seconds - accidental taps are no longer a chore to fix.
- Forgot to log your injection on the day? The "dose was due" note is now tappable and opens the past-injection form pre-set to that date.
- Switch bottles without visiting Settings: tap the "Bottle 1 · 500 ml" label on the water card to swap sizes - desk glass to gym flask in two taps.
- Rearranging your Today page now works like your home screen: long-press any card (or tap the layout button) and the sections shrink into tiles right on the page - drag them into your order and tap Done.
- Menu scans got a full upgrade: up to six ranked dishes with the why behind each pick, complete macros, and what to ask the kitchen for - right on the scan result.
- Nourish's chat replies now use formatting - bold key numbers, tidy bullet lists, and mini-headings in longer answers.
- New "Scan Food" shortcut when you long-press the app icon - straight into the camera (app version).
- Nourish's icon now follows your wallpaper colours on Android 13+ themed home screens (app version).
- Daily and hydration reminders now have separate Android notification settings, so you can tune or mute each independently (app version).
- The Medication Journey card now starts higher up the page for new set-ups (your own saved order is untouched - use "Reset to default" in the rearrange panel to adopt it).
July 14, 2026
- Share a menu to Nourish: screenshot any restaurant menu (or share the image straight from a webpage) into Nourish, tap Menu, and it reads the dishes for you - nutrition labels work the same way. After any photo is taken you can now switch what kind of scan it is.
- The chat is now a proper app expert: ask it how to do anything - widgets, scans, sharing your progress, Health Connect, voice mode - and it answers with exact steps. It'll also point out a handy feature when it fits the conversation.
- Fixed: sharing a photo into Nourish from your gallery now opens the Snap scanner as intended - it no longer flashes open and closes (app version).
- Fixed: the Fenrir voice is now correctly labelled female.
July 13, 2026
- Health Connect has arrived (app version): switch it on in Settings → Privacy & Data and Nourish shares the weight, water, and protein you log with your other health apps - and shows your daily step count from your watch or phone on the Move tab.
- A home-screen widget (app version): today's protein and water at a glance, with a one-tap water button. Long-press your home screen → Widgets → Nourish.
- App lock (app version): require your fingerprint or screen lock to open Nourish. Settings → Privacy & Data.
- Reminders now come from your phone itself (app version) - exact on time, even with no signal.
- Share any food photo straight to Nourish from your gallery or camera app - it lands in the Snap scanner ready to analyse.
- Pick Nourish's voice by ear: every voice in Settings → Nourish's Voice now plays a spoken sample when you tap it, and each is labelled male or female.
- The protein quick-add grew up: your saved regulars now sit right on the card as one-tap chips, and each add asks which meal it was (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner…) so it shows up properly in your Food day too.
- Food Noise got smoother: the slider no longer stutters while you drag, − / + buttons make single steps easy, and it's now in the Diary alongside energy and mood.
- The Muscle Guard tile now explains itself (tap the ⓘ) and taps through to Move - and it's now correct if you weigh in stones or pounds.
- The injection Rotation Map now suggests your next site: one step around from where you last injected, marked "Next" and pre-selected for you.
- Fixed: the app-lock fingerprint prompt could reappear in a loop after unlocking.
- Fixed: the upgrade screen's subscribe button could hang forever on "Just a moment…" (app version).
July 12, 2026
- Water logging is now your bottle: tick off ¼, ½, ¾ or Full as you drink, and when you finish a bottle Nourish celebrates and starts the next one. Set your bottle size in Personal Goals & Preferences.
- New to Nourish? The tour now starts with a choice: a 30-second quick look at the essentials, or the full 2-minute walk-through. Replay either any time from Me → Settings.
- Your free AI uses now refresh every month (15 per month) instead of running out for good.
- Week in Review now folds down to its headline once generated - tap to expand the full digest, so it no longer takes over the Me tab.
- The stats row got tidier: Log Weight sits in the middle with an outline marking it as tappable, and the Medication Journey card no longer overflows on narrow screens.
- Snap & Save can now log in one tap: a new "Log now" button on the scan result logs the meal straight to your day - no detour through chat.
- Label scans now grade products against your actual medication instead of a generic GLP-1 profile.
- Labels that only print per-serving values (no per-100g column) can now be added to your plan too.
- Adding a dish from a menu scan now carries its carbs, fat, and fibre into your plan - not just protein and calories.
- Scan accuracy checks got honest: the "AI double-checked" badge only appears when both passes actually ran, the label double-check now compares the per-100g numbers you actually log, and barcode lookups are faster.
July 11, 2026
- The Move tab's muscle-group tiles have a whole new look: one consistent anatomy figure (front and back, no gender, no face) with the working muscle highlighted in Nourish sage - every tile now clearly shows exactly which muscles you're training.
July 10, 2026
- App updates now arrive properly: the moment a new version is ready you'll see a "Refresh" pill (or, right at launch, a brief "Updating Nourish…" screen) - no more closing and reopening the app hoping a new version kicks in. Nourish also checks for updates every time you return to the app.
- The Me tab loads noticeably faster - it now paints instantly from your device's cache instead of waiting on the network - and every loading moment in the app now says what it's loading ("Loading your journey…", "Reading your recent logs…") instead of showing anonymous spinners and blank pulsing boxes.
- Restore Backup actually restores now: your profile, goals, and medication settings used to be silently rejected while your logs came back - the toast said success either way. Backups also now include your My Regulars protein templates.
- Adding a weight with a backdated progress photo now saves it to that day's log - it used to be silently lost for any date you hadn't already logged.
- The weight logger in Me → Body Stats grew up: stones users get proper stone + pounds boxes (no more "13.5 st+lb" ambiguity), and it now updates your protein goal like every other weight logger.
- The mood line on the Me → Charts mood tab now actually draws - it had never plotted once (moods are words, the chart needed numbers). Tooltips still show "Great" or "Low", not a number.
- Recently Deleted photos now show their thumbnails instead of broken grey boxes.
- Share Progress cards now show your name instead of "Someone's journey" - and creating a new share link replaces your old one instead of leaving old snapshots public forever.
- One milestone scale everywhere: the Garden, its hub tile, and the Milestone Journey all now count percent-of-starting-weight (5/10/15/20%) - the Garden used to count kilograms and could disagree with its own tile (and told stones users about "5kg lost").
- Dose changes made on the Today tab's titration timeline are now recorded in your titration history, so the Titration Journey chart and doctor reports see them.
- Saving your profile no longer re-logs today's weight when you only changed something else - no more phantom weigh-in points on your charts.
- Recent Logs (Me → Share & Reports) shows 14 days with a "Show all" button instead of three months of scrolling.
- Me-tab polish: the weight chart is sage instead of amber, CSV exports label the weight column with your actual unit, doctor reports send a much slimmer data summary, tablet users no longer see pen-expiry fields, a cleared measurement stays cleared (typos used to be permanent), your cm/in and cm/ft choices are remembered, and stale "in Profile" copy now points at the right places.
- Backfilling a past day now works: pick an earlier date on Today and your water, protein, weight, electrolytes, and food-noise entries actually save - they used to fail silently on any day but today.
- Logging a weight on a past date no longer overwrites your current weight or recalculates your protein goal - only today's weigh-in does that.
- The Diary always logs today - and the app now behaves that way: opening the Diary snaps the date back to today instead of pretending to back-fill the past day you were viewing.
- Deleting a meal from Today's Log on the Overview now un-ticks its planned card on the Food tab too, matching how Today's Food already behaved.
- An overdue dose now says so: the medication strip and card read "was due Thursday - log it when done" instead of showing a past date as your "next dose".
- Changing your dose on the titration timeline now asks for a second tap to confirm - one stray touch can no longer silently change your recorded dose.
- Medication supply is now counted in doses and understands your medication: 14 tablets lasts two weeks, 4 pens lasts four - the run-out date and low-supply warning now match reality for tablet users.
- On daily tablets? The Diary no longer shows injection-cycle guidance ("Day 2 post-injection…") that doesn't apply to you.
- Made a typo in a custom symptom? You can finally remove it - a small × next to any symptom you added takes it off your list.
- Your Weekly Insight is remembered for the week instead of asking you to spend another AI use every time you reopen the Diary - with a Refresh link when you want a new one.
- The Diary's "+250ml water" shortcut now logs a proper entry (visible in Today's Log, correctable by voice) instead of an invisible total bump.
- The weight trend now tells the truth: "-2.8 lb in 12d" based on your actual logging dates - and stones users see the change in pounds, not "-0.2 st". Sparklines run over real calendar days too, so gaps no longer compress.
- The energy pill now shows "Not logged" until you log - it used to show a made-up 5/10.
- The symptom calendar's today cell updates live as you log instead of staying stuck at its opening state.
- Small fixes: goal confetti no longer fires when logging on a past date, "Parse" is now "Estimate" in My Regulars, and stale copy ("Get access code", "in the Dashboard") caught up with the app.
- Every exercise video was verified against its exercise - 15 were playing the wrong movement (the Back Squat showed a deadlift, the Superman showed a Cat-Cow…) and now play correct, embeddable form guides.
- The Move tab's muscle-group tiles are now warm illustrated exercise scenes in Nourish's own style, replacing the grey anatomy charts with red highlights.
- Mis-logged an exercise? Recent Activity entries now have a remove button (tap twice to confirm) and your day's stats recalculate automatically - and Recent Activity now lives near the top of Move instead of below the whole directory.
- Routine drafts grew up: name your routine before saving, see every selected exercise as a chip you can remove individually, and the draft bar no longer covers the chat button.
- Generating a new AI 7-day routine now replaces the previous one instead of piling up duplicates.
- Routine exercises now have the same optional Sets/Reps/Weight tracking as the directory, and both overlays say "Add to Draft".
- Walk distance now follows your units - miles if you weigh in stones or pounds, km if you weigh in kilograms.
- The cycle banner no longer claims a "Strong window" when your next dose is overdue - after day 6 it gently reminds you to log your next injection.
- New on Move: Ask for an Exercise - describe what you want in your own words ("light exercise for my bingo wings") and the AI picks the right moves from the library, or creates safe new ones with coaching tips when nothing fits.
- The 7-day AI routine is now genuinely personal: it respects your equipment filter and schedules gentler days right after your injection, with fuller sessions later in the cycle.
- Your exercise streak no longer resets to zero just because you haven't logged yet today - and streaks longer than 7 days now count past 7.
- "Add to Draft" now works from the Routines tab too - the draft bar appears wherever you add an exercise, not just in the Directory.
- AI routine day labels now read D1–D7 instead of a row of "DAY"s.
- The walk logger now puts distance and steps above the one-tap duration buttons, so optional details aren't skipped - and placeholders no longer truncate on smaller phones.
- Micro-workout cards no longer squeeze their description to one word per line on smaller phones, and the daily rotation now flips at your local midnight rather than UTC.
- Mobility moves (Shoulder Rolls, March in Place…) still count as activity but no longer inflate your strength stats or the Muscle Guard badge - in the app and by voice.
- Deleting a routine now asks you to tap again to confirm, and the streak badge no longer pushes the Move page sideways.
- Food History now shows every meal by name - food logged through chat, voice, or a camera scan used to appear only as bare totals.
- An unplanned day no longer greets you with six "Nothing planned yet" boxes - empty meal categories collapse to a single row with their Add button.
- Recipe titles no longer wrap one word per line on smaller phones, and the duplicate Share button in the recipe view is gone.
- Opening a Kitchen section (Library, Shopping List, History…) no longer keeps the scan tools pinned above it - the section you tapped starts at the top.
- Clearer labels around the Kitchen: Scan Label now says what its score is (GLP-1 suitability out of 100), "Add to Day" and "Add to Today" are now one name, the disabled "From List" button explains it needs a saved list first, and empty Saved Lists says how to make one.
- The camera now lives in the chat composer too - tap the camera button beside the mic to scan a plate, label, barcode, menu, or your fridge without leaving the conversation.
- Budget mode is now opt-in: chat suggestions are no longer quietly limited to under-£2 own-brand meals unless you switch it on (wallet icon in the chat header - your choice is remembered).
- The chat header is tidier on small phones: the Budget and Search toggles are now compact icons, so the header no longer truncates.
- Honest labelling: the old "cross-referenced against USDA & verified databases" line is gone - nutrition figures are AI estimates (barcode scans use the Open Food Facts database), and the chat notice now says exactly that.
- Barcode scanning is now front and centre on the Kitchen page - point it at any packaged food for instant macros from a public food database. No AI, no quota used.
- The "Add food" dialog now shows your recently used recipes as one-tap chips, so logging a repeat meal takes seconds.
- New accounts start with six GLP-1 staple recipes (tagged "Starter") - the library, meal planner, and shopping lists work from day one.
- New: a weekly digest push - opt in under Me → Settings → Reminders and every Sunday evening Nourish sends your protein average, best day, and weight trend.
- Nourish now knows where you are in your injection cycle: within 48 hours of your last injection, meal ideas default to Low Appetite and lean gentler automatically (you can always switch back).
- Repeat protein shakes are now instant - Nourish remembers the macros for a brand/scoops/liquid combination instead of recalculating every time (and it no longer costs an AI use).
- Adding an ingredient now estimates macros when you tap Estimate, not while you're still typing - no more surprise AI calls firing mid-word.
- "Add to Library" now has one home: Library → Ingredients (the duplicate Kitchen-page dialog is gone).
- The header is a third of the height it was - the logo tucked in, the tap targets grew, and every screen gets ~50px of your day back. The "About Nourish" overview now lives in Me → Settings, and What's New only appears up top while there's something new to read.
- Deleting a logged meal from Today's Log now un-ticks its planned card too - so a meal you deleted can be confirmed again instead of staying struck through all day.
- Ate less than planned? The confirm dialog now offers a ½ portion alongside 1–4×.
- Adding food to a category with no saved recipes now opens straight onto "Describe" (type what you ate in plain words) instead of an empty library - and that tab is now called Describe, because it's the smart option, not a manual form.
- The "Log this Meal" button in recipes now stays pinned at the bottom while you scroll the ingredients and steps - no more scrolling past 13 instructions to log.
- Recipe steps no longer show stray **asterisks** - instructions and ingredients render clean.
- Fixed the "From Recovery Plan" button label spilling out of its box on smaller phones.
July 6, 2026
- The Me tab now leads with your journey: the Total Lost banner comes first, and each section tile gives you a glimpse of what's inside - your current weight, latest progress photo, a mini weight-trend chart, and milestones reached - so it reads at a glance instead of being a menu.
- The guided tours and help guides are fully up to date: they now cover voice mode, fixing logs by just saying so, Week in Review, Maintenance Mode, the medication-level curve, and all the reminders - and the Diary tour no longer mentions a Save button (everything autosaves).
- Personal Goals & Preferences and Settings each have their own guided tour again - the book icon and help guide are back in their headers.
- Log Weight is now front and centre on Today - first in the stats row, sage-tinted with a clear + button, so it's findable at a glance.
- Back buttons stand out now - the "Back" pill in Kitchen and Me sections is a proper button instead of faint text that blended into the background.
- Stones & pounds fixes: changing your target (or any) weight in st+lb now correctly shows the Save bar, and the pounds box takes halves - 6.5 lb saves and displays exactly.
- Corrections in chat and voice: got a log wrong? Just say so - "actually that shake was 40 grams, not 30" or "I didn't have the salad" - and Nourish removes the wrong entry, logs the right one, and reads back your new total. Water works too: "I've only had 500ml total today" sets the day's figure exactly. Injections stay hands-on - remove those from the Today tab.
- New: Voice mode - talk to Nourish out loud. Tap the mic in the chat (or "Talk" on the Today tab) and just say it: "I had a protein shake", "log 500ml of water", "I weighed in at 82 kilos", "I did my injection". Nourish chats back naturally, logs as you speak, and reads back what it saved. Injections are always confirmed out loud before anything is logged. Free plan includes 15 minutes a month.
- Voice conversations are processed in real time and never recorded or stored - only what you choose to log is saved, plus the minutes used.
- Choose Nourish's voice in Settings - eight voices from warm and breezy to deep and assured. Your pick applies from your next voice chat.
- Voice mode can now see: tap the camera button mid-conversation and show Nourish your plate or a food label - it describes what it sees, estimates the macros out loud, and logs it when you say so.
- Voice chats no longer vanish when they end - the transcript drops into your chat thread, so you can scroll back to what was said and carry on by text.
- The typed chat now logs everything voice can: weight, supplements, walks and workouts, and injections (with the same confirm-first step) - just say it in a message like "weighed in at 92kg this morning".
- Voice sessions now survive network blips - if the connection drops mid-chat, Nourish reconnects and carries on where you left off.
- Long-press the app icon for a new "Talk to Nourish" shortcut, and see your voice minutes for the month in Settings.
- Today is now a real at-a-glance page - noticeably shorter, with much less to scroll past. A new medication strip sits right at the top (your cycle day, next dose, and supply) and tapping it jumps straight to the full Medication Journey card.
- Pattern insights on Today now show one card at a time - tap through them instead of scrolling past a wall of text.
- Micro-workouts now live on the Move tab only, and daily supplements have one home: the Diary (Today's Log still shows a read-only summary). Same features, fewer duplicates to scroll past.
- The Today tab's first pill is now called "Overview" - no more three things called "Today" on one screen.
- The Diary now saves itself as you go - the Save button is gone, and nothing is lost if you switch tabs mid-entry.
- One floating button instead of two: the camera now lives inside the chat (and as Snap & Save on the Food tab), so buttons no longer overlap your cards.
- The Food tab's second pill is now simply "Kitchen" everywhere (it was "Meal Suite" inside), and the fridge scan is now called "Scan Fridge".
- AI meal-idea buttons now say what they do - "Get 3 ideas" - so it's clear a tap generates recipes.
- The "free uses remaining" counter now only appears for your last 10 uses instead of under every AI button.
- When nothing is planned yet, Today's Food offers one clear starting point: "Plan my day with Nourish".
- Logging out now asks you to tap twice, so a stray tap can't sign you out - and signing back in lands you on Today, not wherever you left off in Settings.
- The evening greeting is now honest about your day instead of always cheering - and gently reminds you there's still time to log.
July 5, 2026
- New: Estimated Medication Level - the Medication Journey card now shows a modelled curve of how much medication is in your system, built from your logged injections and the published half-life. See levels build across your first weeks and understand the pre-dose dip. An illustration, not medical advice.
- New: Week in Review - a personal AI look back at your last 7 days on the Me tab: your wins, patterns worth noticing, and one small focus for the week ahead.
- New: Maintenance Mode - when you reach your target weight, the Me tab switches from loss pace to holding steady: a maintenance calorie budget, how long you've held your goal, and a nudge to update a calorie goal still set for losing.
- New: long-press the app icon for shortcuts straight to logging water, weight, or an injection.
- New reminders: a heads-up 2 days before your opened pen hits its 28-day limit, and a refill nudge on injection day when you're down to your last couple of doses.
- The app now installs and updates much faster (about 70% less to download).
- Nourish now works fully offline - your data loads without a connection, and anything you log offline (water, meals, weight) saves safely and syncs the moment you're back online. Perfect for flights and patchy signal.
- Fixed: your Protein Goal override now sticks. If you tap "Override" in Settings and set your own number, it's kept - saving your profile or logging your weight no longer quietly resets it back to the calculated 1.2 g/kg. Tap "Reset to auto" whenever you want the automatic figure back.
- Switching your weight unit now converts your whole logged history too - previously old entries kept their old numbers, which scrambled your weight trend and weekly stats.
- Fixed the recommended protein figure misreading stone-and-pound weights ending in 0 lb (e.g. 10st 0lb read as 10st 13lb).
June 28, 2026
- AI suggestions now carry a brief, one-time reminder that they're general information - not medical advice - on each AI feature (meal ideas, chat, workout routines, and the doctor report). Always check with your doctor or pharmacist before changing your medication, diet, or exercise.
- Fixed: if the very first thing you did today was log water or food through the AI chat, it could occasionally fail to save. Those entries now save reliably from the first tap.
June 26, 2026
- Added support for the new oral GLP-1: pick "Wegovy (oral)" as your medication for the weight-loss semaglutide pill - it tracks as a daily tablet (no injection sites) with the right dose steps. Rybelsus (the diabetes-dose pill) is still there too.
- Fixed: on the sign-in screen, the top of the Nourish logo could be cut off when the email and password fields were open (especially with the on-screen keyboard up). The screen now scrolls gently instead of clipping.
- Meal-prep shopping list costs now show in your local currency - ₹ in India, € across much of Europe, and so on - based on your device region, instead of defaulting to £ or $. (The cost estimates were always in those currencies under the hood; now the prices reflect your country properly.)
- Recipe ideas you generate from a saved shopping list no longer vanish if you switch tabs and come back the same day - they're kept so you don't have to regenerate them.
- The Calories card now shows a rough estimate of the calories you've burned being active today, from your logged walks and workouts. On GLP-1 the bigger risk is eating too little, so it's framed as fuel to replace - a gentle nudge to eat enough, never a budget to spend down. It never changes or lowers your calorie target.
June 23, 2026
- New Kitchen scan (was Fridge): photograph your fridge, freezer, pantry and cupboards - snap as many shelves as you like - and the app lists what it sees, double-checking itself first. You confirm the list (rename, remove, add, and set where each item lives), and it saves as a "what I have" stock list with macros filled in, marking everything in stock. It no longer jumps straight to a recipe - cook from the saved list whenever you're ready, and the items feed "Use what I have".
- The AI chat can now build shopping lists for you - try "make me a list leaning towards veg rather than meat, I shop at Lidl" - and save them to your Lists in one tap. It can also use a list you already saved: tap "Use a saved list" (or just ask for recipes from your list), pick one, and it turns it into recipes.
- New Barcode scan: point the camera at a product barcode to pull its macros from the Open Food Facts database - fast, and it uses none of your AI allowance. Coverage is strongest on branded items; if a product isn't found it offers the Label scanner instead. (On phones without barcode support, it points you to the Label scanner.)
- Fixed: scanning a nutrition label no longer brings up your saved card details - the "I had…" amount box was being mistaken for a payment field by the keyboard.
June 18, 2026
- Fixed: recipes created in the AI chat now record their fibre. The figure was being dropped, so saved recipe cards showed no fibre and logging one of those recipes added nothing to your daily Fibre tile.
- Recipe photos made by the AI chat now stick around - they used to be regenerated from scratch every time you reopened the app (slow, and the picture could change). They're now saved on your device and reused.
- On the Me tab, your Body Measurements now sit above the BMI and Waist-to-Height cards, so the "enter your waist above" hint points to the right place.
June 13, 2026
- Your Min. Daily Calories now shows a health floor - a "no lower than" figure (~1,500 kcal if you've set your sex to male, ~1,200 otherwise) - and gently flags it if you set a goal below that. On GLP-1, eating too little is the real risk, so we keep the calorie estimator from ever suggesting less than this.
- Clearer calorie controls: the weight-loss speed buttons are now labelled Gentle · Steady · Faster (was Gentle · Moderate · Active), so "Moderate" no longer means two different things next to the Activity level buttons.
- The dashboard calorie tile now shows a floor → target range (e.g. "1,200–1,650 kcal") - the floor to stay above and a steady weight-loss target to aim for - instead of just a single minimum. If you haven't set your own minimum, it falls back to the health floor so there's always something to aim at.
- Tidied the weight inputs in Settings: one unit picker (kg / lbs / st + lb / st) now sits at the top and every field - Starting, Today's, Target - lines up the same way underneath, instead of the layout shuffling around as you change units. Switching units now also converts whatever you've already entered, so the numbers carry across instead of being left as-is.
- Fixed: logging a meal now counts its fibre towards the day, so the dashboard Fibre tile fills in - previously only protein, calories, carbs and fats were being recorded from planned meals.
- Fixed: the equipment filter on the Move tab no longer overlaps the muscle-group cards on smaller screens.
June 12, 2026
- You can now sign in with an email address and password, alongside Google - tap "Continue with Email" on the sign-in screen. Includes "Forgot password?" reset by email.
- Account recovery now works with email sign-in too - enter your recovery code, then sign in with either method to restore your profile.
- Fixed: "Delete Account & All Data" could stop partway and leave data behind - it now removes everything properly. You'll be asked to confirm your password (or Google sign-in) first, so deletion always completes in one go.
- Progress photos are now stored only on your device - they are never uploaded to the cloud. Any photos previously backed up online are moved onto your device and removed from our servers automatically.
- Emptying the progress-photo bin now fully removes the deleted photos' records, not just the images.
- A fresher sign-in screen: the Google button now carries the Google logo, the email option is easier to spot, and the retired access-code entry is gone.
- Fixed: the welcome tour could start underneath the Settings panel (after onboarding with "Part way through", or when replayed from Settings) - Settings now closes as the tour moves around the app, and if you're importing history the tour politely waits until you're done.
- The welcome intro's "What's inside" now includes the Move tab - walks, micro-workouts, and AI routines.
- Info (ⓘ) button review: the Diary's mood field now has its own ⓘ like the other fields, and several info texts were corrected to match today's app (Food tab name, how shopping lists and the recipe library actually work).
- A gentle dot now marks each page's tour (book icon) until you've taken it once, and the welcome tour's last step points out the per-page tours and help guides.
- Fixed: all AI features (chat, daily tips, meal ideas, scans) were failing with "couldn't reach the AI" - a server-side issue, resolved without needing an app update.
- Every camera scan can now go straight into your food plan: label scans get an "Add to plan" button using the portion you enter, fridge-scan recipes can be added to a meal, and each menu-scan dish has its own Add button - all landing in Today's Food.
- Daily reminders now arrive at the time you actually set - previously a reminder like 9:30 was sent at 9:00.
- The Me tab's summary tile now shows your current weight from day one, switching to "Total lost" once your first loss is logged - it previously showed nothing until then.
- Micro-workouts: every day's trio now always includes two strength moves (the muscle-preserving kind) plus one mobility move, and Reverse Lunges joins the rotation.
- Logging a micro-workout from the Today tab now records it in your exercise history and streak, exactly like logging it from the Move tab.
- Move tab upgrades: filter the exercise directory by equipment (no equipment, dumbbells, band, bar), log sets/reps/weight on any exercise to track progress over time, and see a "This Week" summary of your active days, walks, and strength moves.
- Hold-based micro-workouts (like Wall Sit) now have a built-in countdown timer that logs the move for you when it completes.
- The Move tab now gives gentle guidance based on where you are in your injection cycle - easier suggestions just after your jab, encouragement for a fuller session late in the cycle.
- Swapped Barbell Upright Row for Dumbbell Shrugs - same muscles, kinder to your shoulders.
- 11 new exercises fill the equipment gaps: every muscle group now has a no-equipment option (towel curls, pike push-ups, towel rows, step-ups), and resistance-band moves now cover most of the body - bands are the cheapest, gentlest kit for this journey.
- The Diary now auto-saves your energy, mood, digestion, and notes a moment after you change them - switching tabs before tapping Save no longer loses your selections.
- When Nourish updates, a gentle note now slides up from the bottom listing what's changed - it stays until you dismiss it. (Like this one!)
June 11, 2026
- Fixed: adding a meal in Today's Food at the very start of a fresh day (before anything else was logged) could silently do nothing - it now always works and tells you if something goes wrong
- Recipes logged via "Log this Meal" now appear in Today's Log on the Food tab, so they can be reviewed and removed like any other entry
- Removing a logged entry now also subtracts its fibre from the day's totals
- Drinks (teas, juices, cordials) are now auto-filed under the Drinks category when your library is organised
- Recipes generated from a shopping list now respect your food preferences and aversions
- Food History loads faster - it now fetches only the recent days it shows
- The 7-day meal plan is now an Injection Recovery Plan - a focused 3-day plan for the toughest stretch after your jab, anchored to your last logged injection. It saves automatically and is still there when you come back.
- Send recovery-plan days straight to your food plan - Day 1 lands in Today's Food, Day 2 in tomorrow's, and so on, as planned entries you confirm as you eat them
- Mark ingredients as "In stock" in your Library, then flip on "Use what I have" when generating meal ideas - recipes will favour what's already in your kitchen
- Shopping lists: one clear "New List" spot - build a costed list from recipes you pick, or from your recovery plan. The old pre-made starter lists are gone.
- The welcome tour, page tours, and help guides have been rebuilt to match today's app - they now cover the calorie pillar, recovery plan, in-stock ingredients, and the current layout, and the Kitchen tour opens each section as it walks you through it.
- Fixed tour steps that pointed at nothing - including the Food tab steps of the welcome tour, which now switch to the right view automatically.
- Tour highlights now wait for slow-loading pages instead of giving up, and long tour cards no longer push the Next button off the bottom of the screen.
- Today's Food now has its own help (?) and tour (book) buttons in its header - they were previously only in the Kitchen.
- Fixed: walks with distance or steps were silently failing to save - they logged on screen, then vanished on the next app open. All past attempts were unfortunately lost, but walk logging now saves reliably.
- Fixed: logging an exercise or walk as the very first action of the day could silently fail to mark your daily activity flags.
- Your exercise streak now counts correctly when you log several exercises in one day, and the Move and Today tabs now show the same daily micro-workout rotation.
- The app starts noticeably faster - the initial download is about a third smaller, with chat, onboarding, and AI features loading in the background after first paint.
June 10, 2026
- Faster, more reliable camera scans - photos are now optimised before analysis, so scans complete quicker and work better on slower connections
- AI stays available during busy periods - if our primary AI model is overloaded, requests now automatically switch to a backup model instead of failing
- Sign in with Google - the app now uses your Google account from the start, so your data is always backed up and recoverable; existing anonymous accounts keep working
- Recipe cards from chat now always show the proper dish name - no more chat snippets sneaking into saved recipe titles
- "Clear All Data" is now "Delete Account & All Data" - clearer about what it does, and the confirmation dialog no longer gets cut off on small screens
- Fixed the Today tab showing endless loading placeholders when daily insights could not be generated - insights now also generate just once per day instead of every visit
- Onboarding step counter now matches the progress dots
- Tidied the floating buttons so they no longer cover the Kitchen scan tools
- Reorganised the Kitchen into "Scan & Log" (snap, label, fridge, menu) and "Plan & Save" (library, meal plan, shopping list, history) for a clearer flow
- Progress Photos now have their own section in Me - easier to find than buried under Stats; sharpened the Me section labels and tidied the goal cards into one
- Smart food entry - in Today's Food, just type what you ate ("100g beans, 2 eggs, 2 bacon, 1 slice toast") and the AI breaks down every macro and adds it. Manual number entry is still there if you prefer.
- Tweak library recipes when adding - picking a saved recipe now lets you adjust the ingredient quantities (more of one, less of another) and recalculates the macros before it goes into your day.
- More reliable AI - food calculations now retry on a backup model if the first attempt hits a temporary server error.
- Save quick entries to your library - tick "Save to my library too" when adding a typed or tweaked meal, and it's kept for one-tap re-adding later (no AI call needed next time). Saved meals appear under the right category, including Drinks.
- Calories are now a full tracker on the Today tab, alongside protein and water - shown as a daily fuel floor to reach (never a limit), in keeping with eating enough on GLP-1.
- Tap any of the Protein, Water or Calories cards on the Today tab to open a focused view - today vs goal, a 7-day trend, what you've logged toward it, and quick-add right there. Quick logging stays one tap on the cards too; the card opens the detail view, the buttons log directly. Calories shows a progress-to-goal bar and a 7-day trend like the others.
- Clearer Today-tab insights - "Patterns from your logs" (auto-detected from your data) is now distinct from "Tips for today" (generated on tap).
- Profile: the long "Body & Goals" section is split into "Weight & Body" and "Daily Goals" so it's easier to scan.
May 27, 2026

- More secure account recovery codes
- Fair-use limits on AI features to keep things fast and reliable for everyone
May 4, 2026
- Plan & confirm workflow - food no longer logs immediately; everything goes to Today's Food first so you can review, edit portions, and confirm at the end of the day (just like MFP)
- Confirm All button - tap it on Today's Food to step through every unlogged item and set portions one by one; skip any you don't need
- "Log" renamed to "Confirm" on each meal row - clearer intent: you're confirming something you planned, not just logging it
- Drinks category added - plan juices, smoothies, sports drinks and other beverages alongside your meals
- Camera snap now adds to plan - "Save meal" becomes "Add to plan"; pick a category (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Snack, Shake, Drinks) and it lands in Today's Food unconfirmed
- Chat food detection routes to Today's Food - when the AI detects food you've eaten, an inline card appears with category buttons; tap one to add it to your plan rather than auto-logging
- Symptoms and water from chat still log immediately - only food macros go through the plan flow
- Camera scan - tap the new camera button (above the chat button) or any Smart Tool to open a live viewfinder; modes: Snap & Save, Menu Analyser, Nutrition Label, Fridge Scan
- Scan accuracy improvements - all image analysis now runs at lower temperature for precision; Snap & Save and Label Scan run two concurrent checks and flag if results differ significantly
- Confidence badge on every scan result - shows how clearly the AI could read the image before you commit to saving
- Chat about it - after any scan, tap Chat to inject the result into the AI for follow-up discussion, saving, or recipe suggestions
- UK timezone - all dates and day rollovers now use London time; Dashboard automatically ticks to a new day at UK midnight
- Remix saves to library - remixing a recipe now saves it straight to your cookbook rather than logging immediately
- Today tab cleaned up - the meal plan block is removed; the protein bar now projects from your unlogged planned meals in Today's Food
May 3, 2026
- Date navigator - swipe back through previous days from the Today tab; tap the date chips or use the arrows to jump to any past day
- Today's Log card - tap it at the top of the Today tab to review everything in one place: logged protein, water and shakes (edit or delete any entry), planned meals, vitamins, and injections; deleting an entry automatically subtracts its values from your totals
- Past days are fully editable - if you forgot to log something yesterday, go back and add it
May 2, 2026
